This literature circle, I read my first book "Touching Spirit Bear". But then I read my second book project "Hachet". I know that there are similarities and differences in these books. To me, I think I liked "Touching Spirit Bear".The similarities in these books are in the next paragraph.
The first similarity is that Cole and Brian must survive for their life, in "Touching Spirit Bear", Cole is banished on the island, in "Hatchet" Brian crashes on the island. The second similarity is both are left alone. The third similarity is both have something bringing them down, cole's parents are divorced, also brian's parents are divorced. The forth and final similarity is both parents are divorced. However, they are also different in four different ways.
The first difference is Cole is banished to the island, and Brian crashes on the island. The second difference is Cole is prepared, Brian only has a windbreaker, one outfit, and a hatchet, or axe. The third difference is Cole is mauled by the spirit bear, Brian is beat by the work to survive like getting food. The final difference is that Cole is a convict, Brian is a normal kid going to see his dad.Thats the differences of these books.
